Spain international defender Sergio Ramos has expressed his delight with his side's 1-0 victory over France in Saint-Denis on Tuesday.
A second-half goal from Pedro at Stade de France was enough for the reigning European and world champions to win their World Cup qualifier.
"A game at this level is always complicated," Ramos told reporters. "We were against a team that tried to dominate the game, but eventually we found a way to cope with them and we got the desired outcome.
"Most of the players involved played in our victory over them at Euro 2012, so that gave us a bit of reassurance. We tried to get the win from the first minute."
Spain are now a point clear of France at the top of Group I.
