Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final with Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester City head into Wednesday's encounter with Tottenham Hotspur knowing that they must overturn a deficit in order to reach the Champions League semi-finals.

Pep Guardiola witnessed his side suffer a 1-0 defeat in the first leg of their quarter-final tie last Tuesday, with Son Heung-min netting a late goal for the North London outfit.

However, City returned to winning ways at the weekend as Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus got on the scoresheet in a 3-1 triumph at Crystal Palace.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for the North-West giants ahead of the encounter at the Etihad Stadium.

MANCHESTER CITY'S INJURY LIST

Fernandinho

Status: Doubt
Type of injury: Unknown
Possible return date: April 17

Guardiola has revealed that Fernandinho suffered an injury during the closing stages of the first leg, which subsequently led to the midfielder being left out against Palace. The Brazilian is said to be suffering with 'a short-term injury', but has trained ahead of the meeting with Spurs.

Oleksandr Zinchenko

Status: Doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: April 17

Oleksandr Zinchenko is nearing a return from a thigh injury, which was sustained against Cardiff City at the start of the month. Guardiola must decide if the Ukrainian is fit enough to start such a high-profile game.

Possible return date: Unknown

Claudio Bravo is moving closer to a return from an Achilles injury, but the goalkeeper is still weeks away from being in contention.
