By , Senior Reporter | 7d
Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final with Manchester City.

Tottenham Hotspur head into the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final with Manchester City on Wednesday night having established a narrow advantage in the tie.

Mauricio Pochettino witnessed his side survive a controversial penalty decision before Son Heung-min netted a late goal in the closing stages of last Tuesday's first leg.

Spurs followed up that success with a 4-0 triumph against Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon ahead of back-to-back fixtures with City at the Etihad Stadium.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Pochettino's side ahead of the fixture in the North-West.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S INJURY LIST

Harry Kane

Harry Kane suffered another ankle ligament injury during the first leg, and Pochettino fears that the team's top goalscorer could miss the rest of the season.

Type of injury: Hand
Possible return date: April 17

Dele Alli suffered a broken hand during the closing stages of last week's game in North London. The midfielder has been fitted with a protective cast, but Pochettino has suggested that the playmaker must feel comfortable with it before being considered for selection.

Eric Dier has not featured for Spurs since the last international break, and the England international has been ruled out of Wednesday's encounter.

Harry Winks sustained what has been described as a minor groin injury in training on Friday, but Pochettino had remained positive about the midfielder's chances of making this match. However, the Englishman will not be ready to feature at the Etihad Stadium.

Serge Aurier

Serge Aurier is continuing his recovery from a thigh problem, and remains out of contention for the game in the North-West.

Erik Lamela is nearing a return from a thigh injury, and the Argentine could be ready to be given a place among the replacements against City.

Fernando Llorente picked up a couple of knocks during the second half of the game with Huddersfield Town, but the Spaniard should be fit for Wednesday evening.
