Swansea City reportedly want to bring Gylfi Sigurdsson back to the Liberty Stadium but may have to pay more than their £8m valuation of the Tottenham Hotspur star.
The 24-year-old midfielder spent half a season on loan at the Welsh outfit in 2012 and scored seven goals in 18 appearances before moving to Spurs that summer.
However, he has only ever been a fringe player at White Hart Lane, and new Lillywhites manager Mauricio Pochettino is believed to be willing to part with him this pre-season.
Swansea are one of several Premier League sides that are thought to be keen on the Icelandic international, but the Daily Mail understands that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is likely to drive a high price.
Sigurdsson has netted 11 times in 83 Tottenham games, but half of his appearances have been off the bench.
