Tottenham Hotspur confirm that 20-year-old striker Kion Etete has left the club to sign for Cardiff City on a permanent deal.
Sports Mole

Tottenham Hotspur have announced that they have reached an agreement with Cardiff City to offload 20-year-old striker Kion Etete.

The former Notts County youngster joined the Lilywhites' academy in the summer of 2019 but has not made a single top-flight appearance for the Lilywhites.

Etete spent the 2021-22 season on loan with Northampton Town and Cheltenham Town in separate spells, scoring three goals and setting up three more in 13 League One games for the latter.

The striker's contract with Tottenham was due to expire in the summer of 2023, and the North London club have now announced that he will depart for Cardiff on a permanent deal.

Etete leaves Tottenham after registering 10 goals in 26 matches for the club's Under-23s, as well as 10 strikes in 15 games for the Under-18s.

The youngster follows the likes of Steven Bergwijn, Jack Clarke and Cameron Carter-Vickers out of the club on permanent deals this summer. body check tags ::
