Sports Mole rounds up all of the latest transfer news in the Championship on Thursday, August 13.

Thursday morning's Championship transfer talk news roundup:

AC Milan to rival Chelsea for Brentford's Said Benrahma?

AC Milan have reportedly joined the race to sign Brentford winger Said Benrahma.

The 25-year-old was part of a formidable front three alongside Ollie Watkins and Bryan Mbeumo during the 2019-20 campaign, and Benrahma amassed 17 goals and nine assists for Brentford in the regular Championship season.

However, Brentford's failure to achieve promotion to the Premier League could possibly lead to Benrahma seeking pastures new ahead of the new season.

Chelsea have been tipped to move for the attacker in recent weeks, but according to DZFoot journalist Walid Ziani, AC Milan are now looking to strike a deal for Benrahma.

The report claims that Milan are stepping up their efforts to sign a new winger this summer, and Benrahma could be tempted to make the switch to San Siro in order to join up with Algerian compatriot Ismael Bennacer.

Benrahma's current deal at Brentford will expire in 2022, and the Bees have reportedly slapped a €28m (£25.2m) price tag on the winger's head.

Leeds United considering offer for QPR midfielder Eberechi Eze?

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Eberechi Eze has reportedly remained as a transfer target for Leeds United.

While Eze is QPR's most prized asset, the Championship outfit will sell the playmaker this summer if he does not extend his contract past 2021.

With a preference to remain in London, Crystal Palace and West Ham United have both been linked with an approach for the 22-year-old.

However, The Mirror claims that Leeds are not prepared to give up in the race for the prospect.

Nevertheless, no deal will materialise unless QPR are prepared to lower their valuation below £20m, which they hope to receive if a bidding war ensues over the coming weeks.

Eze contributed 14 goals and eight assists at the second tier during the most recent campaign.
