Oliver Wilson has won his first ever European Tour event with a one-shot victory at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews.
The Englishman carded a two-under-par round of 70 on Sunday to finish with a score of 17-under overall.
Wilson, who had led overnight, holed a bogey on the front nine before shooting three birdies to put himself back in contention.
Rory McIlroy, Richie Ramsay and Tommy Fleetwood all threatened to finish above Wilson during the course of the afternoon, but the trio eventually ended on 16-under.
After needing an invite to play the tournament, Wilson goes away with a cheque for nearly £500,000.
