Team GB have comfortably won their opening Group A hockey match 4-1 against Argentina.
In the first half Great Britain were on top for the most part but could not make their pressure pay, with a solitary goal from Barry Middleton taking GB to the half at 1-0.
Middleton then made it 2-0 just five minutes into the second half, hooking in a fine strike from an angle as Britain took advantage of their early pressure.
The match was effectively over as a contest when Britain scored two quick goals on 49 and 52 minutes, the first from Daniel Fox and the second from Richard Smith after a penalty corner.
Argentina pulled a goal back on 55 with a penalty corner of their own but as the pace of the game slowed Team GB were able to see out the game, taking two points with a 4-1 win.
