Former Coventry City and Sheffield United player Peter Ndlovu is fighting for his life following a car crash in Zimbabwe.

Peter Ndlovu has been critically injured in a car crash in Zimbabwe.

It's understood that the former Coventry, Birmingham and Sheffield United player was injured after a tyre burst on the car he travelling in, causing it to veer off road.

His brother Adam, who was also a professional footballer, died in the collision, along with a female passenger.

The 39-year-old is currently an assistant coach for the Zimbabwean national side.
