Sir Bradley Wiggins has revealed that he took his two children Ben and Isabella out of school after they were bullied during the fallout of Lance Armstrong's doping scandal.
The former Tour de France champion has claimed that his children were targeted by bullies after it was revealed that Armstrong had taken illegal performance-enhancing drugs throughout his career.
"They were harassed and bullied," Wiggins told The Telegraph. "It was hard for me and the family. It affected them as well. The Lance Armstrong thing in January, my kids started getting harassed at school.
"'Is your dad on drugs? He won the Tour. Is he the same as Lance Armstrong?' My son getting bullied at school. I had to move my kids from that school and move them to another school."
Wiggins became the first Brit to win the Tour de France in 2012, and a matter of weeks later, the 33-year-old clinched an Olympic gold medal in the London Games.
