Juan Martin del Potro has booked his place in the final of the Sydney International with a straight-sets victory over fourth seed Dmitry Tursunov.
The Argentinian took just over an hour to dispose of the Russian and will now compete for his 18th ATP Tour title.
Del Potro needed just the one break of serve to take the first set 6-4, before wrapping up the second 6-2 with little trouble.
He will face the winner of the other semi-final between Sergiy Stakhovsky and Bernard Tomic.
