Alison Riske has clinched the first WTA title of her career with a straight-sets win over Belinda Bencic in the final of the inaugural Tianjin Open in China.
The sixth seed moved into a commanding 4-1 lead during the opening set before eventually sealing it 6-3.
The two players exchanged breaks of serve at the start of the second, but it was the American who broke again late on to close out the match 6-3 6-4.
Both Riske and Bencic were playing in their first final on the WTA tour.
