Andy Murray eases into Wimbledon final

Andy Murray secures a spot in the final of Wimbledon after overcoming Tomas Berdych 6-3 6-3 6-3 on Friday evening.

Andy Murray will face Milos Raonic in the 2016 Wimbledon final after recording a 6-3 6-3 6-3 victory over Tomas Berdych in Friday's second semi-final on Centre Court.

Raonic secured a spot in his first Wimbledon final after beating seven-time Roger Federer earlier in the afternoon, before 2013 champion Murray eased past Berdych in straight sets.

Sunday's final will be a repeat of the Queen's final last month, when Murray won 6-7 6-4 6-3 in the English capital.

Both players secured early breaks in the opening set, but it was Murray that secured a vital second break at 3-4, before holding serve to record a 6-3 score in the first set.

Berdych did well to recover in the second and matched the world number two in the early stages as it remained on serve at 3-3, but back-to-back breaks for Murray allowed the Scot to record another 6-3 score in the second.

There was just one break of serve in the third and what proved final set, as Murray broke Berdych's second service game before holding to move 4-1 ahead.

Berdych, who was enjoying his best Wimbledon since reaching the 2010 final, kept Murray honest by holding his next two serves, but the home favourite was always comfortable as he served it out to book a spot in Sunday's final.
