Ex-Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Ron Jaworski has stated that Arizona Cardinals youngster Logan Thomas is the best rookie signal-caller that he has seen in pre-season so far.
Thomas completed 11 out of 12 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown during the Cardinals' rout over the Houston Texans last week, with his score coming following impressive work to wriggle out of the pocket.
The performance has led to Jaworski to concede that it was the best he had seen from the 2014 Draft class to date.
He told ESPN: "When I plugged his tape in yesterday morning and I saw Logan Thomas, I was shocked. He was fantastic in this game against the Texans.
"He's big, strong and he can rip throws. Of all the rookie quarterbacks that I've watched so far - yes I know that's it's early in the preseason - but Logan Thomas has been the best that I have seen.
"You plug this tape in, this guy projects to me as an All-Pro."
Out of Virginia Tech last year, Thomas currently sits behind starter Carson Palmer and backup Drew Stanton in the Cardinals depth chart.
