Carlson Palmer has helped the Arizona Cardinals earn their fourth win on the spin, cruising to a 40-11 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on home soil.
Palmer wasted little time finding his range, picking out Larry Fitzgerald with a 26-yard touchdown pass early in the first quarter.
Fitzgerald combined with Palmer again in the second quarter as the Cardinals pushed further ahead despite Adam Vinatieri's 27-yard field goal, with Karlos Dansby's 22-yard interception soon putting the hosts in the end zone for the third time.
A pair of Jay Feely field goals gave Arizona a commanding 27-3 lead at the interval, with Andrew Luck unable to provide a response for the Colts.
Rashard Mendenhall broke clear to add his name to the Cardinals scoresheet early in the second half, with Luck finding Coby Fleener for a consolation that came too little too late for the Colts.
Feely kicked two more late field goals for added gloss to a comfortable Cardinals success, improving to 7-4 as their playoff charge continues.
