Atlanta Falcons safety William Moore has revealed that he wants the NFL to consider the player's point of view before handing out fines.
Moore was fined $22,050 (£13,700) for hit on Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate last week, his fourth fine of the season.
"I can't control what they call on the field," Moore told ESPN. "I just continue to play football; run to the ball. And whatever happens, happens.
"But at the same time, I hope the NFL looks at it from a player's standpoint and just knows that we're out there playing ball. We don't try and go after defenseless players and try to play dirty. We're just playing football."
The Falcons face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
