Tony Gonzalez has said that he was "sobbing like a baby" following the Atlanta Falcons' last-minute win over the Seattle Seahawks.
The victory is the first in the playoffs for the veteran tight end, who has said that this is likely to be his last season in the NFL.
The 36-year-old told the Falcons' website: "I was on the ground sobbing like a baby.
"I thought it was over. I've played 16 years and I thought 'here we go again', especially with that big old lead, I guess it's just not meant to be.
"We believed and we were able to make the plays when it counted. Even Matt Bryant. He was over there on the sideline saying 'We've been here before, let's go do it'. We put it in position to go out and make that play and we do it. That's great."
The win sets up a meeting with the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC championship game.
