Pernell McPhee has said that he is looking forward to being 100% healthy ahead of the start of the 2013 NFL season.
The defensive lineman missed four games last season with a series of injuries, recording just 21 tackles for the Baltimore Ravens.
The 24-year-old told the team's official website: "I just want to dominate. All I could do was just take that, get angry about it, and just bust my butt this off-season and try to get back 100%, and try to dominate.
"Get pissed off. Get angry about it. I'm always going to have a chip on my shoulder, but when I say pissed off and angry, that's how I like to play the game. Last year I couldn't play like that.
"That's where I messed up last year. Mentally I was 100% and I was telling [the training staff] I was 100%. And they were like, 'Don't rush, don't rush it.' I was thinking that I was 100%, and the whole while I wasn't 100%."
McPhee was drafted by the Ravens in 2011.
