The Baltimore Ravens have said that they are optimistic that Dennis Pitta will make his first appearance of the 2013 NFL season this weekend.
The tight end fractured and dislocated his hip during pre-season training camp, keeping him off the field so far this season.
According to the Baltimore Sun, head coach John Harbaugh said after today's practice that he is hopeful the 28-year-old will line up against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
The Ravens are expected to make a decision on Pitta's status later in the week.
