Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti has revealed that he is confident that the team can come to an agreement with Joe Flacco over a new deal.
The quarterback signed a six-year deal worth $120.6m (£80.7m) in March 2013, a month after being named the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player.
While his salary jumps up to account for 20% of the Ravens' entire cap in 2016, the organisation are hopeful of discussing the figures to help strengthen the team.
"I'm not real worried about it. I know he wants to stay," Bisciotti said, ESPN reports.
"He's obviously more appreciated in Baltimore maybe than he is league-wide."
The 30-year-old has won the most games in the NFL since 2008 with 82 victories as he has led the Ravens to 10 playoff wins.
