Baltimore Ravens cornerback Lardarius Webb admits that he is determined to end his career at the AFC North side after restructuring his deal to remain with the club.

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Lardarius Webb has revealed that he wants to end his career at the club after restructuring his contract.

The Ravens traded away defensive tackle Haloti Ngata to the Detroit Lions due to his high salary cap number, and Webb believed that he could be next in line to leave the club because of his lucrative contract.

However, the cornerback and the AFC North side came to an agreement on a restructure, which has lowered his cap hit for the 2015 season, leaving Webb a chance to earn his money back on incentives.

He told The Baltimore Sun: "My goal is to retire a Raven, and while it wasn't an easy decision, I wanted to put the team first. I wanted to prove myself this year that the Ravens sticking with me was the right decision.

"As far as the restructure, my goal is to prove my worth this year. I want to show I can be healthy and help the team get to the next level.

"I'm working hard this off-season to be healthy. This is the first off-season I'm going into where I'm not coming off a major injury. I finished the season healthy."

The 29-year-old has recorded 301 tackles, two sacks and 11 interceptions in his six years with the Ravens.
