Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Saturday night's pre-season games in the NFL.

The New York Jets beat local rivals the New York Giants 24-21 during overtime last night, with Billy Cundiff kicking the winning field goal.

Rookie quarterback Geno Smith made his first start for the AFC East side, but struggled, completing 16 of 30 attempts and throwing three interceptions, as well as giving the Giants a safety.

Lance Ball found the end zone in the fourth quarter to help the Denver Broncos secure a single-point victory over the St Louis Rams.

First-round draft pick Alex Ogletree recovered a fumble for a second-quarter touchdown to put the Rams ahead.

After Ball's touchdown, Zach Potter brought the Rams back into contention, and the NFC West side attempted a two-point conversion instead of kicking for the extra point, but the pass was incomplete.

Rico Richardson scored a touchdown in overtime to help the Kansas City Chiefs to victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Jonathan Dwyer found the end zone early on for the Steelers, but Alex Smith picked out Junior Hemingway in the second quarter to keep the teams level, before Chase Daniel threw the winning touchdown pass in overtime.

Matt Ryan was sacked five times as the Atlanta Falcons were beaten by the Tennessee Titans.

Jake Locker led the passing for the Titans, completing 11 of his 13 attempts for 133 yards, while backup Ryan Fitzpatrick threw two touchdown passes.

The Falcons had to rely on kicker Jeremy Shelley for points, with three of Ryan's sacks coming on third downs.

Andrew Luck threw two touchdown passes as the Indianapolis Colts comfortably beat the Cleveland Browns 27-6.

Last year's number one draft pick found Stanley Havili and TY Hilton in the end zone, before Larry Asante returned an interception for a third Colts touchdown in the third quarter.

A strong finish saw the Philadelphia Eagles come from behind to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Bryce Brown and Chris Polk both scored fourth quarter touchdowns as the side overturned an eight-point deficit in the last 15 minutes.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers scored a touchdown with just over a minute left to play to ensure that they beat the Miami Dolphins by a single point.

Brandon Gibson helped the Dolphins edge ahead just before half time, but Mike Glennon was able to connect with David Douglas with just 1:03 on the clock.

Tony Romo completed two touchdown passes for the Dallas Cowboys as they beat the Cincinnati Bengals 24-18.

Dez Bryant and Miles Austin both added to the score in the second quarter, while Cobi Hamilton got the Bengals back into the game late on, but the Cowboys' defense was able to hold on for the win.

Mike McCoy secured his first win as San Diego Chargers head coach, as the AFC West side beat the Arizona Cardinals 24-7.

Ryan Mathews rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown while John Phillips returned a fumble to the end zone in the second quarter.

Michael Floyd scored the Cardinals' only touchdown of the game, hauling in a 16-yard pass from Carson Palmer.

Earlier in the evening, the Washington Redskins maintained their 100% pre-season record, beating the Buffalo Bills 30-7.
