The Buffalo Bills have registered a 23-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens at the Ralph Wilson Stadium in the NFL.
The Bills had a couple of strong offensive drives in the first quarter but were unable to score a touchdown, relying on kicker Dan Carpenter to give them a 6-0 advantage after 15 minutes.
Joe Flacco found rookie Marlon Brown early in the second quarter to keep the scores tight, but EJ Manuel completed a 42-yard touchdown pass to Robert Woods before Fred Jackson rushed for a touchdown to leave the AFC East side comfortably ahead of the break.
The Super Bowl champions reduced Buffalo's lead to six points midway through the third quarter when Flacco found Torrey Smith, but Carpenter continued his solid game with the boot to add another field goal.
Flacco tried several high-risk passes in the fourth quarter as he tried to overturn the Bills' lead, but interceptions prevented the AFC North side from adding another touchdown.
Kicker Justin Tucker brought the Ravens to within three points of the Bills score, but Flacco threw his fifth interception of the game to give the ball back to the home side, allowing them to seal the victory.
