The Buffalo Bills are reportedly interested in acquiring veteran quarterback Josh McCown and are in negotiations with him.
The free agent was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on February 11, and has spent the last two days visiting the Cleveland Browns.
While he has also met with the New York Jets and Chicago Bears, the 35-year-old is understood to be close to agreeing a deal with the Bills.
Coach Rex Ryan has made finding an alternative to current signal-caller EJ Manuel a priority, while Kyle Orton also remains on the roster.
However, Ryan has no first-round Draft pick in April and has instead moved to try to bring in an experienced quarterback to provide competition.
