Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall reportedly sustained fractured ribs during Thursday night's 41-28 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
Marshall took a knee to his ribs from a Cowboys defender in the second quarter and he was shown being taken from the stadium in an ambulance to a local hospital.
Chicago believe that the 30-year-old has suffered fractured ribs which would put the remainder of his season in doubt, while he also had his spleen examined, according to NFL.com.
Marshall has played every game this season and he has recorded 58 catches, 660 yards and eight touchdowns entering week 14 of the campaign.
However, those numbers are far short of his 2014 season in which he accrued 100 receptions, 1,295 yards and 12 scores.
