Chicago Bears receiver Brandon Marshall has joked about the possibility of playing for coach John Harbaugh at the Baltimore Ravens.
The Bears star has three years remaining on his current contract with the franchise, but joked with Harbaugh during an interview as part of his role as a reporter for Showtime's Inside the NFL.
"[During Super Bowl Week] I actually interviewed him. I said, 'If I played for you, would you let me do Inside the NFL?'" he said on the show.
"He said, 'Oh, absolutely.' He knew I was taking a lot of heat for doing the show. But, when you are the first in the space to do something like this, you are going to get a lot of push-back and [the Bears] had the worst year possible."
A league spokesman later confirmed that the exchange between Harbaugh and Marshall would not fall under the league's rules regarding tampering.
