Chicago Bears offensive lineman Matt Slauson feels that Jay Cutler has the talent to be the best quarterback in the NFL.
The 31-year-old was criticised for his performances for the Bears last season as he struggled for consistency, which resulted in his side's 5-11 record.
However, Slauson is adamant that Cutler can be just as good as Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers if he is given the full support of his teammates.
"I have every confidence in [Cutler] his ability, his intelligence," Slauson told WGN. "The guy can be the best in the league.
"We just have to do a better job, as a team, supporting him. We didn't do a very good job of that last year. Jay can be every bit of a Tom Brady, a Peyton Manning, an Aaron Rodgers. He can be them, if not more."
Cutler threw for 3,812 yards along with 28 touchdowns for 18 interceptions for the Bears last season.
