The Chicago Bears have confirmed that they have signed cornerback Tracy Porter on a one-year deal.
The 28-year-old played for the Washington Redskins in the 2014 campaign, but only played three games due to injuries, and was released by the NFC East outfit last month.
Chicago have moved to sign Porter to a one-year deal to bolster the options in their secondary, while the cornerback will link up with head coach John Fox who he played under at the Denver Broncos in the 2012 season.
Porter has recorded 287 tackles, 2.5 sacks and 10 interceptions in his seven years in the NFL.
