Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Andre Smith has suffered what the team fears to be a triceps tear during their win over the Houston Texans in the NFL this evening.
The 27-year-old did not return to the game after injuring his arm during the 22-13 win, which kept the side at the top at the AFC North.
NFL Media reports that Smith appeared to have at least partially torn the triceps, but will undergo an MRI scan either later today or tomorrow to confirm the extent of the injury.
If the tear is confirmed, it is likely to rule Smith out for the remainder of the 2014 season.
