Andy Dalton has said that he was pleased that the Cincinnati Bengals were able to keep the ball moving during their pre-season win over the Tennessee Titans last night.
Giovani Bernard, Mohamed Sanu and Dan Herron all scored touchdowns during the 27-19 win.
The quarterback told reporters: "We kept drives alive and kept moving the ball. We were making really positive gains on first down. I think we were running the ball really well when our first group was out there. We've got to keep that going.
"Now's the time to get these guys experience doing something they won't normally do. The more versatile you can be in the preseason, the better chance you get.
"Now's the time for these other guys to step up and show what they can do. I feel like we've done a good job of that. The guys that have stepped in played well and we've gotta keep that going."
The Bengals face the Dallas Cowboys next weekend.
