Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson is adamant that he still has confidence in quarterback Andy Dalton.
The 27-year-old produced one of the worst performances of his career in his side's defeat to the Cleveland Browns as he passed for just 86 yards at a completion percentage of 30, while he posted a quarterback rating of 2.0.
However, Jackson has assumed a portion of the blame for his display, admitting that he is determined to help Dalton get back to his best.
"I'm joined at the hip with him. I understand that's the way it goes," Jackson told reporters. "I have not run from that. As he gets killed, I get killed. That's the way it goes. That's part of the business.
"But I don't want us to think we're going to have an issue with Andy. We're not. We're going to coach Andy. We're going to help Andy get to where he needs to be. That's my job. We're going to coach him, continue to get him better, continue to grow."
The Bengals are 5-3-1 in their season following their loss to the Browns.
