Rey Maualuga has signed a new contract keeping him at the Cincinnati Bengals for another two seasons.
The linebacker, who had been a free agent after his previous deal with the Bengals expired, has agreed to a contract worth $6.5m (£4.3m).
The 26-year-old had also held talks with the Arizona Cardinals, and was linked to the New York Giants.
Maualuga made 122 tackles in the 2012 season including one sack.
