The Cincinnati Bengals have confirmed that defensive tackle Domata Peko has signed a two-year extension which will keep him with the franchise until the end of the 2016 season.
His previous deal had just one more season to run and having confirmed the deal, Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said that Peko is a great influence on the younger players.
"Domata has been a significant and productive player for our defense for many years now, and we are excited to extend his time here even longer," Lewis told the club's official website.
"He is a leader among our veterans and a mentor for our younger players, and securing his future as a Bengal through the next three seasons is another positive step in continuing to improve our team."
Peko has played for the Bengals since joining the club in 2006.
