Cleveland Browns coach Mike Pettine has insisted that it will not be easy for any player to beat Brian Hoyer to the role of starting quarterback in the new season.
Speculation has linked the franchise with using their Draft pick on a quarterback, but Pettine has insisted that they will likely sit the season if that happened.
"There will be competition, but I think it will be very difficult, based on my evaluation of this year's Draft class, it will be very difficult for anyone in this Draft class to come in and beat [Hoyer] out," he said, USA Today reports.
It is unclear as to who the Browns will select, but after a special study they concluded that Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater is the best quarterback in this year's Draft.
