The Cleveland Browns have signed former Houston Texans offensive linesman Rashad Butler as a free agent.
Butler has made just two appearances in the NFL in the past two seasons due to injury, but the Browns have decided to give him a one-year deal.
The 6'4" player was the 89th overall pick in the 2006 draft by the Carolina Panthers, before he joined the Texans the following year.
Butler has made 42 appearances overall, including all 16 in 2009 and 2010 for Houston.
