The Cleveland Browns have announced the signing of wide receiver Miles Austin after an injury-plagued final year with the Dallas Cowboys.
The 29-year-old caught just 24 passes for 244 yards and no touchdowns last season but he is expected to play a prominent role for the Browns if he can remain healthy.
Austin has spent his entire career in Dallas, but he could now emerge as the top option in Cleveland with Josh Gordon potentially facing a lengthy suspension.
Gordon is reportedly facing a suspension for the entire 2014 season after failing a drug test, and he will be a significant loss after leading the league in receiving yards last year.
