Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has issued another apology to the organisation and its fans after he was released from a rehabilitation treatment facility last week.
Manziel insisted that he will work hard to regain the trust of everyone concerned, and is grateful for the patience and support that they have all shown during his time in recovery.
"I take full responsibility for my actions and it's my intention to work very hard to regain everyone's trust and respect," he said, according to ESPN.
"I understand that will take time and will only happen through what I do and not what I say."
Manziel spent 10 weeks in the facility but is now expected to join up with the rest of the team for off-season workouts, which started on Monday in his absence, as he looks to compete for a starting spot.
