The Cleveland Browns were handed some bad news during their 17-13 defeat to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, as quarterback Johnny Manziel left the field with a hamstring problem.
The former Texas A&M man was taken out by linebacker Luke Kuechly and failed to return to action at the Bank of America Stadium in Carolina.
Earlier in the game Manziel had sought to prove doubting fans wrong as he played his part in a 55-yard drive that resulted in Garrett Hartley's 43-yard field goal.
If the injury turns out to be a lasting one, the experienced Brian Hoyer may get his chance to play out the side's remaining games in the league season.
