Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has insisted that he will continue to push to become the franchise's starting signal-caller.
Coach Mike Pettine chose to start veteran Brian Hoyer against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday but Manziel revealed that he hopes to make the decision difficult moving forward.
"[Pettine]'s answer is no," Manziel told reporters regarding whether he is ready to be an NFL starter.
"Hopefully moving forward, whatever transpires, maybe next time it will be a yes."
Hoyer is 7-5 in 12 starts this season but Manziel played a key role last time out after completing five of eight passes for 63 yards including an 80-yard drive capped by a 10-yard touchdown.
