Marcus Mariota has insisted that he did not hold talks with the Cleveland Browns prior to the NFL Draft.
The quarterback was the second pick last month and joined the Tennessee Titans, but was heavily linked with the Browns during the off-season.
However, he told NFL Media: "There was a lot of scenarios [but] I never had any contact with the Browns."
Mariota threw 105 touchdowns in three college seasons with the Oregon Ducks.
