Mike Pettine has revealed that reports that Jim Harbaugh was approached before him to take the head coaching job at the Cleveland Browns doesn't bother him.
The 47-year-old was appointed as the Browns' head coach earlier in February, after the club searched for a successor to the fired Rob Chudzinski for over a month.
A report suggested that the Browns were ready to send multiple Draft picks to the San Francisco 49ers to procure Harbaugh, something which the club have strongly denied.
Pettine told reporters: "[It] has no impact on my job moving forward. I shot the messenger a little. I used a word proceeded by the word flying. And I don't give a rat's."
Pettine is the Browns' third head coach in as many seasons.
