The Cleveland Browns have hired Kevin O'Connell as their new quarterbacks coach, according to a report.
The Browns parted ways with offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan and quarterbacks coach Dowell Loggains at the end of the season, due to issues with the quarterback position.
Mike Pettine's men secured the signature of John DeFilippo as their new offensive coordinator, and have now moved to bring former NFL signal caller O'Connell to coach their quarterbacks, including Johnny Manziel, reports NFL Network.
O'Connell played for the New England Patriots, the New York Jets and the San Diego Chargers in his five-year career in the NFL.
