Troy Aikman has said that he does not have any problems as a result of a concussion suffered during his playing career.
2013 documentary League of Denial revealed that the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback was hospitalised following the 1994 NFC championship game with a severe concussion, before going on to play in the Super Bowl.
The three-time Super Bowl champion, who now works as a commentator, told Newsday: "I feel great. I'm great. I haven't had any issues. You hear about the different guys coming out, and it's a concern."
Aikman underwent a neurological exam lasting three to four hours last year, confirming that his cognitive functions are in full working order.
