Dallas Cowboys quarterback Matt Cassel has said that he must take more care of the ball to help his team.
Cassel gave up three turnovers in the second half as the Cowboys lost 27-20 to the New York Jets tonight.
"I thought we had a good first half. When you come out and have three turnovers in the second half that's not any way you want to perform obviously," Cassel told reporters.
"Turnovers is what killed us today and it lies on my shoulders. I've got to correct those things and give our team a better opportunity to win.
"If you don't take care of the ball in this league it's tough to win."
The result sees the Cowboys move to a 2-4 record this season.
