Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware has admitted that he must begin to show improvement this season, beginning with Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers.
Ware has yet to reach double figures for sacks this season, and he said that any improvement must start from basics in training.
"Every week, you've got to be your worst critic, and that's me," Ware told the club's official website. "For me, I know I haven't been playing the way I need to be playing.
"So you go back to the drawing board and say, 'Hey, what am I doing wrong or what do I need to change to be more effective?' It's just the small things. It goes back down to fundamentals, doing the bags, doing tackling drills, doing those types of things."
Ware has played for the Cowboys his whole career, since being drafted in 2005.
