Knowshon Moreno is expected to play his final game for the Denver Broncos during the Super Bowl this Sunday.
The running back has played a major role for the Broncos this year, rushing for 1,038 yards and hauling in 60 catches for 548 yards, with 13 touchdowns overall.
However, with his contract set to expire this off-season, Denver are expecting him to chase a deal elsewhere following the season finale.
NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport said: "Right now, Moreno is the team's workhorse. But he started the year last on their depth chart and he's a free agent this summer. The team love him but they're going to let him test the free agent market and do not expect him to stay.
"They have Montee Ball - who they drafted last year - and they're likely to try and build their running game around him if, as expected, Moreno departs."
The 2013 season saw Moreno feature in all 16 games for the first time since his rookie campaign, five years ago.
