Denver Broncos head coach John Fox has stated that he is happy with the way his side has practised during their first pre-Super Bowl session.
The team braved the cold in its only padded practice of the week, working for over an hour and 40 minutes at the New York Jets' training facility in the type of natural elements that they will come against when they take on the Seattle Seahawks at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
Fox told NFL.com: "It was a great session. We're pretty much weather-proof. We practise in this stuff all the time. Being in Denver, we've played in a few different elements.
"We practised numerous times in single digit, played in single digit, played in wind. We've practiced in snow many times. We're pretty much ready for anything.
"Peyton was looking very sharp. What I've noticed, he had to get used to weather over the past two years. I think he's done an unbelievable job, which I think people forget."
The Broncos were the number one ranked team in the AFC this season, winning their division with a 13-3 record before wins over the San Diego Chargers and the New England Patriots in the playoffs.
