Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Friday's pre-season games from the NFL.

The Denver Broncos defeated the Seattle Seahawks 22-20 in their pre-season opener in a rematch from Super Bowl XLVIII.

Peyton Manning sat out the match as Brock Osweiler started at quarterback for the Broncos, and their defensive starters made an impact when Von Miller sacked Russell Wilson.

The visitors held a 9-3 lead before rookie Tyler Lockett returned a kickoff for the Seahawks from 103 yards to hand them the advantage, but a field goal from Brandon McManus and a touchdown strike from Osweiler to Virgil Green put Gary Kubiak's man in command.

Steven Hauschka got three points back for Seattle, but Denver held out for the win, despite a late touchdown from Pete Carroll's men as RJ Archer found Thomas Rawls for a touchdown.

The Jacksonville Jaguars secured their first win of pre-season courtesy of a 23-21 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Mike Tomlin's men started the game well as Ben Roethlisberger hit Martavis Bryant for a 44-yard touchdown, but the Jaguars responded with two scores of their own in the second quarter as Blake Bortles rushed in from four yards and Chad Henne found Clay Harbor in the endzone.

Garrett Hartley brought the Steelers back into the game with two field goals, while the visitors regained the lead when Landry Jones found CJ Goodwin in the endzone. However, Stephen Morris handed the Jaguars the win with a late touchdown run.

The Carolina Panthers edged out the Buffalo Bills 25-24 in their pre-season clash at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Karlos Williams put the Bills ahead with a one-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, but the Panthers levelled the scores when Cam Newton found Kelvin Benjamin in the endzone.

Bryce Brown put his side ahead once more, but Graham Gano cut the deficit to four points with a field goal from 47 yards.

In the second half, Derek Anderson found Brenton Bersin in the endzone to hand the Panthers the lead for the first time in the much, but Buffalo rallied through a kick from Jordan Gay and they retook the advantage when Deonte Thompson latched on to EJ Manuel's deep strike for a score.

However, Joe Webb won the match for the Panthers when he found Brandon Wegher in the endzone, while the visitors converted the two-point conversion to seal the victory.

The Cincinnati Bengals recorded a comfortable 23-10 victory over the New York Giants in their clash at MetLife Stadium.

The Bengals raced into a 10-0 lead in the first quarter as Andy Dalton found Mohamed Sanu in the endzone and Tom Obarski added a field goal from 46 yards.

New York responded in the second quarter as Orleans Darkwa found the endzone with a one-yard run, but the Bengals found their rhythm on offense again when James Wilder ran for a score from one yard.

Jason Brown added a field goal for the Giants, but two further kicks from Obarski secured the win for the Bengals.

The Oakland Raiders overcame the St Louis Rams in their pre-season clash with an 18-3 victory.

Greg Zuerlein put the Rams ahead with a 31-yard field goal, but Sebastian Janikowski levelled the scores with a kick of his own from 44 yards.

Christian Ponder found Andre Holmes for a three-yard touchdown strike to put the AFC West side ahead in the second quarter.

Giorgio Tavecchio fired a 39-yard kick through the posts in the third quarter to put his side in control, while Brice Butler sealed the win when he collected Matt McGloin's 16-yard pass in the endzone.
