Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas feels that his side can win the Super Bowl next season with an improvement to their running game.
The Broncos were eliminated in the divisional round of the playoffs in the 2014 campaign, which resulted in the firing of John Fox and the addition of Gary Kubiak as his replacement.
CJ Anderson and Juwan Thompson had success on the ground towards the latter half of the last campaign, and Thomas believes that consistency in their running game could lead to the AFC West side lifting the Vince Lombardi trophy next February.
"They've got everybody saying we're going to run, run, run and I know the coaches have run the ball before and that's good, I think," Thomas told reporters.
"We know we can throw, we know we have guys who can make plays, I don't think Coach Kubiak is going to just ignore that. But I think we all feel like if we can add in a good running game, you can win the Super Bowl."
Thomas was designated with the franchise tag by the Broncos to keep him at the club for the 2015 season after failing to come to a long-term agreement with the club.
