Denver Broncos defensive tackle Terrance Knighton has insisted that he wants to remain with the franchise ahead of next season.
Knighton will be a free agent when the market officially opens in March, but has revealed that he had made his intentions clear to the front office.
"I think I've made it very clear to [the Denver management] that I want to be a Bronco," Knighton told ESPN.
"To be quite honest with you, it's frustrating and it's somewhat disrespectful just knowing how important I was to the team and what the defense could've been without somebody like me. It's almost like, the longer they wait, the worse it is going to be."
Oakland Raiders coach Jack Del Rio has made it clear that he likes the Broncos star, but is unable to specifically talk about signing him until the market opens.
